Microsoft's 'significant' DRM pledge

Microsoft said it plans to place "significant" investments into the development of digital rights management (DRM) technologies to help protect copyright material on mobiles, during a speech at CTIA. The company, however, did not offer and specific financials, but said it plans to extend its Windows Media DRM software to new types of mobile services. According to Microsoft, its current DRM software is licensed for more than 100 content services and hundreds of devices.
