Rumor Mill: T-Mobile pressuring dealers to shun Helio

T-Mobile is pressuring retail outlets not to stock Helio phones, according to a report in South Korea's Hankook Daily. The initial article does not appear to be available online, but other South Korean media outlets are reporting that T-Mobile threatened to cut off retailers that sell Helio products. An SK Telecom official indicated the company will fight back against any such illegal acts. Due to translation and other difficulties, the accuracy of this report is still in question. However, there is little doubt that T-Mobile, America's No. 4 wireless carrier, sees Helio as a threat to its business.
