Apple has pushed into Google's turf yet again, this time buying Siri, a mobile voice recognition solutions provider. The free Siri Assistant productivity app for iPhone translate users' verbal search queries and commands into web searches. Prior to the Apple acquisition, Siri secured a total of $24 million in venture financing. Details of the deal--which hasn't officially closed yet--were not disclosed.
