Seasoned Wireless Communications Systems Executive will Lead Company's Indoor and Outdoor Network Design and Deployment

LISLE, IL -May 11, 2010 - ExteNet Systems, Inc., a leading North American network infrastructure provider, announced hiring Steven Kingwell as Vice President, Network Engineering and Implementation, a new position. Kingwell, with over 20 years of experience in tower and wireless telecommunications engineering, operations and sales, will manage ExteNet Systems' network design and deployment in both indoor and outdoor locations.

            Kingwell comes to ExteNet Systems from American Tower Corporation, where he served for eight years in several positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently he was Senior Vice President, Site Leasing Management. In that post, Kingwell was responsible for site leasing and sales activities associated with over 20,000 company assets throughout the United States, including the firm's Distributed Antenna System portfolio.

            Prior to American Tower, Kingwell was Vice President, RF Engineering and Site Development for AT&T Wireless, where he led a team of 300 employees and contractors in designing, building and managing fixed wireless projects in a dozen markets across the U.S. During his tenure, Kingwell and his team successfully built and launched over 300 fixed wireless sites in a 12-month period.

In addition to his experience at American Tower and AT&T Wireless, Kingwell served in engineering and executive positions with Sprint PCS and BC Tel Mobility. At Sprint, he helped lead the expansion of its PCS networks throughout the northeastern and southeastern U.S. as well as Michigan, Ohio and Washington State.  He began his career at BC Tel Mobility in Vancouver, Canada, working in various engineering and network operations posts.

Kingwell, a native of Canada, earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of British Columbia. He serves on the board of directors of the By Your Side Autism Center in Burr Ridge, IL, as well as the board of trustees of the Cambridge Montessori School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
