Korea's WiderThan, one of the companies responsible for bringing the world ringback tones, reported a second-quarter adjusted net income of $5.2 million, or 26 cents a share. That's more than double the $2.2 million reported for the period last year, and above analyst expectations of 16 cents per share. Revenues jumped almost 50 percent to $33.1 million, also beating analyst expectations of $31 million. Forecasts for the 3Q and 4Q are a bit more muted.
