Vodafone Group announced its third significant content partnership in as many days, adding user-generated video service YouTube to a deck that now includes MySpace [1] and eBay [2] as well. Details of the deal are scarce, although Vodafone confirms YouTube will debut on its UK mobile platform before expanding into other European markets later this year. Like the AT&T/Cingular YouTube offering launched [3] in late 2006, Vodafone will offer subscribers a daily selection of handpicked videos; customers may also forward links of their favorite clips and upload their own content from their handsets.
