Iconic men's magazine Playboy announced a partnership with mobile content service provider Quattro Wireless to bring content from its lifestyle and entertainment website Playboy.com to mobile handsets. Quattro's GetMobile platform will deliver non-nude Playmate photos and lifestyle content like the Playboy Advisor column and the Playboy Joke of the Day alongside targeted advertisements from brands including AXE Vice body spray and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
"Playboy is one of the world's most recognized brands and, as our customers increasingly turn to their mobile devices for content, we now can reach them whenever and wherever they are," said Chris Petrovic, Playboy Media Group VP of digital media. "Quattro enables Playboy to extend its reach into the mobile Internet while maintaining brand consistency with our wired Web site and print publication."
