Mobile solutions provider July Systems announced a collaboration with MTV Networks to deploy mobile websites for cable brands including VH1, Comedy Central, Spike TV and CMT. Powered by July's SmartMedia managed solution, the mobile websites include a patent-pending, branded "Smart Launcher" delivering one-click access to the mobile channel; live informational feeds, content and interactive services; real-time multimedia alerts that notify consumer of shows, new content, latest news, promotions and offers; and viral contribution distribution options like "Tell a Friend."
