Openwave Systems announced an agreement with Vodafone Spain, which will deploy the mobile software provider's Openwave OpenWeb and Secure Content Management solutions to deliver subscribers rich, device-formatted content from websites to any mobile device. According to Openwave, OpenWeb is an open Internet browsing solution enabling operators to offer consumers a broader range of content choices by delivering full web pages in a user friendly format, while its SCM solution promises a multi-protocol, multi-service defense across messaging, browsing and downloads.
