Mobile TV solutions provider DiBcom announced its digital broadcast technology is now integrated into navigation solutions developer Garmin International's nüvi 900T personal navigation device. According to DiBcom, nüvi 900T users may now toggle between advanced navigation services and mobile TV content, promising reliable reception even at speeds exceeding 125 mph. The DiBcom solution also enables digital TV service in countries with either DVB-T or DVB-H standards, regardless of coding parameters. "Our collaboration represents the convergence of high performance technologies, providing users a reliable navigation support together with the entertainment of mobile TV," said DiBcom CEO Yannick Lévy in a prepared statement. "The recent endorsement of DVB-H by the EU and the expected deployment of this standard in several European countries are very exciting developments for us."
