Mobile web domain registry dotMobi announced it acquired the intellectual property assets of mobile browsing firm Mowser. Financial terms were not disclosed. According to dotMobi, acquiring the Mowser technology--described as "a PC website-to-mobile website content adaptation engine" by dotMobi CEO Trey Harvin--enables the company to provide a more complete range of mobile content creation solutions. dotMobi will integrate Mowser technology to develop new business-grade and consumer-grade mobile development tools and enhance existing tools including its handset information resource DeviceAtlas [1].
