Multi-platform casual games firm Oberon Media--which operates under the I-play [1] brand--announced it received a $20 million investment from the Infinity I-China Fund, a venture effort focusing on Israeli-Chinese related opportunities. According to Oberon, the investment is part of a larger global strategy that includes expanding the casual game publishing and distribution business as well as establishing new partnerships across China. New York-based Oberon boasts partnerships with firms including Microsoft, Comcast, Verizon, Electronic Arts and MySpace.
