Verizon Communications announced a long-term program carriage agreement with CBS to bring new and expanded programming options to its V Cast Video and FiOS TV services. Per terms of the expanded agreement, Verizon Wireless secures mobile rights to full episodes of CBS Entertainment and News programming from the Tiffany Network's primetime and daytime slates, including newsmagazine perennial 60 Minutes. The expanded agreement also awards Verizon national video-on-demand rights for programs in both standard and high-definition format, including hits like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, Survivor and Numb3rs. Additional terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
