Satirical news outlet The Onion announced an exclusive mobile advertising and publishing partnership with mobile ad network Quattro Wireless. The self-appointed "America's Finest News Source" will leverage Quattro's platform to deliver dynamically configured mobile content and ads optimized for all types of handsets; The Onion's mobile site is also designed to support audio feeds for The Onion Radio News network. The Onion boasts a readership of 6 million. "Our partnership with Quattro should move us ever closer to our sole goal in business: Total domination of the nation's--and, for that matter, the world's--digital media channels," cracked The Onion CEO Steve Hannah in a prepared statement. "Teaming up with Quattro pretty much finishes the job."
