Mobile advertising network Greystripe announced the completion of a $5.5 million Series C funding round led by existing investor Incubic Venture Capital, with additional participation from Steamboat Ventures and Monitor Ventures. The firm has now raised $15.6 million to date. Greystripe integrates its mobile ad inventory directly into online media buying software, enabling advertising agencies to more efficiently add a mobile component to their digital campaigns--in addition, integrating with the web allows for Flash-based advertisements to appear on the iPhone. Greystripe said it has now delivered 180 million ad-supported game and app downloads.
