Mobile entertainment destination Thumbplay announced the launch of Thumbplay Open Pro, an online marketing tool promising to simplify digital content sales for record labels, artist managers and media companies. According to Thumbplay, the free service enables users to manage online and mobile marketing campaigns for multiple artists across multiple websites. Open Pro features include Dynamic Landing Pages, which allows users to create customized pages for every band and every song, as well as add purchase links to websites, emails, Twitter and social network profiles in under five minutes; the Widgetron widget maker, an automated tool enabling users to create widgets with custom sizes, colors and playlists with a click of a button; and Reporting Console, which tracks and compares every click on purchase links, widgets and campaigns, offering detailed, daily reports. According to Thumbplay, its mobile website now receives more than 12 million page views each month.
