Mobile technology and applications developer ROK Entertainment Group announced a partnership with digital media firm AMS Interactive to develop mobile and web portals optimized for on-demand streaming music. While ROK's portfolio includes services like streaming live and on-demand video solution ROK TV, AMSi specializes in deploying customizable audio content platforms for retail and corporate partners--features include tools to deliver marketing messages directly at the point of sale and interactive components like song skipping, favorites tracking, countdown channels and search. According to ROK, the two firms are collaborating on multiple business models including advertising-funded and premium subscription music services.
