Geo-location and mobile social networking services provider GyPSii announced its smartphone application is now available in a
[1]new Java-based format compatible with more than 100 mass-market phones including the Nokia 6300, 6600 Slide, 6700 and 5610 XpressMusic as well as Sony Ericsson's W580, T700, W595 and C905. The GyPSii Next Generation user interface for Java phones promises a full-color, feature-rich consumer experience usually comparable to the GyPSii app for smartphones--consumers can create and share location-specific content and places with other GyPSii members, and access information and contact details on nearby points-of-interest.
GyPSii Java is compatible with many Java variations and is available for download directly from the GyPSii website as well as Nokia's Ovi Store and independent mobile download site GetJar.
