CBS Sports announced the introduction of an iPhone and iPod touch app that
[1]will stream live its complete 2009 Southeastern Conference college football slate, including this Saturday's matchup pitting Arkansas against third-ranked Alabama. In addition to streaming the entire SEC on CBS schedule, the $9.99 CBS Sports: College application offers users in-game box scores and player stats, even as an overlay on top of the video simulcast. The app (developed in conjunction with mobile broadcast solutions provider MobiTV) also boasts a full Division FBS college football scoreboard, individual "gamecenters" for Top 25 showdowns, polls, headlines and standings.
CBS Sports: College will offer a total of 15 live SEC contests in the weeks ahead, concluding with the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 5. The 110th Army-Navy College Football Classic will also be streamed live to mobile. In addition, CBS Sports: College will also include select games from the network's 2009-10 SEC college basketball broadcast schedule.
