Navigation technology developer TomTom announced a new agreement with AT&T to deliver real-time information to motorists. Per terms of the deal, AT&T will provide the wireless connection to the TomTom XL 340S LIVE, which TomTom says is the first mid-range portable navigation device to feature Local Search powered by Google, real-time traffic information and its Fuel Price Service. TomTom adds that all services are preloaded on the XL 340S and will work immediately out of the box. TomTom and AT&T said they intend to collaborate on other connected features in the future.
