Alice Kim - mobile content memory lane
Name: Alice Kim
Why they were a mobile content leader: Kim was part of Greg Clayman's team at MTV Networks, and was instrumental in making the entertainment company a leader in the mobile content space. At MTV, Kim managed distribution deals and partnerships with wireless carriers, online portals, video aggregators and emerging media players. In 2008, Kim was named one of the Top Women in Wireless by FierceWireless.
Career path: Kim started in the wireless industry as a vice president of mobile marketing firm Enpocket. Most recently she was senior vice president of digital distribution at MTV Networks, where she was responsible for developing strategy and building revenue across brands including MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.
Where they are now: In September, Kim left MTV to join Qualcomm's FloTV as senior vice president of strategy and corporate development, where she will oversee strategic initiatives for the subsidiary.
