Alltel Wireless's new LBS Nationwide Roaming service enables subscribers to access GPS-based navigation and location applications outside of their home network area--services such as TeleNav GPS Navigator, Alltel Navigation, Axcess Family Finder and WHERE now function across the operator's existing network as well as in more than 45 major metro areas that were inoperable prior to recent network enhancements.
