Mio Moov UI
Like conventional mobile handsets, personal GPS devices
have long suffered from user interface complexities. GPS solutions provider Mio
Technologies' new Moov product family promises to change that, incorporating new
proprietary UI software based on design and content proficiencies acquired when
Mio acquired GPS product developer Navman in early 2007. Essential to the new UI
is the Moov device configurations themselves: The Moov 300 and 310 both feature
a 4.3-inch widescreen window, delivering more on-screen location data, in
addition to incorporating text-to-speech functionality that calls out street
names when the driver is supposed to make a turn.
