Why they were a mobile content leader: Tercek is a digital content pro who has spent two decades working in digital media. He was a frequent speaker at industry events and a well-known name among mobile insiders.

Career path: Tercek started his career as creative director of MTV and then became senior vice president of digital media at Sony Pictures Entertainment. On the mobile side, he worked as president of PacketVideo Applications and Services Division, where he launched the first video service for mobile phones. He then moved over to the mobile game side, where he served as chief marketing officer for MForma Group.

Where they are now: In October 2008 Tercek was named president of digital media for the Oprah Winfrey Network where he oversees the multimedia ventures for OWN and Oprah.com.
