Developed by web and mobility solutions provider Ten23 Software, SpotJots incorporates data from geographic information systems provider Navteq to enable users to upload and share anecdotes, reviews, pictures, video, audio and documents associated with relevant spatial info. Users can discover content and people via site tools such as keyword searches, a public timeline, city guides, references, a featured user list and maps. The downloadable SpotJots application also enables real-time content transmission from handsets to blogs as well as social networking sites like Facebook.
