2waytraffic intros MyPengo content portal

Mobile services and entertainment provider 2waytraffic Mobile announced the U.S. launch of MyPengo.com, a new D2C online mobile content portal promising some 30,000 ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers as well as a premium text alert service delivering music industry news and more. In addition to exclusive content created for and by 2waytraffic Mobile, the MyPengo portal--which debuted in the U.K. on Jan. 31--offers music from Sony BMG Music Entertainment artists including Chris Brown and Alicia Keys. According to 2waytraffic, MyPengo will add Java games, streaming video, short films and full-track downloads later this spring. The firm plans to roll out the portal in close to two dozen international markets over the next six months.
