4INFO assists MySpace on NCAA basketball bracket challenge
Social networking titan MySpace announced the launch of the second annual MySpace Bracket Challenge in advance of the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, which begins next week. To participate, MySpace users should friend the Bracket Challenge profile and fill out their March Madness bracket online anytime from Sunday until one hour before tip-off of Game 1 next Thursday. The MySpace user with the most accurate bracket at the end of the tournament will win a $10,000 prize.
MySpace will team with mobile messaging services provider 4INFO to deliver Bracket Challenge entrants final scores and upset alerts to their mobile devices. MySpace will also feature a host of other interactive features including tournament tips and insight from NBA stars Chris Paul, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, Deron Williams, Jeff Green and David Lee, tournament news from FoxSports.com, a game simulator powered by WhatIfSports.com, a video gallery and bracket rankings.
