4INFO huddles up with the NFL
Mobile messaging services provider 4INFO announced an exclusive mobile publishing partnership with the National Football League's premier franchise the New York Jets--the firm also announced identical agreements with the Green Bay Packers, the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Redskins, but FierceMobileContent doesn't root for those teams. Anyway, 4INFO will integrate the Jets and their rivals into its mobile publishing platform, enabling the franchises to offer fans free, customizable opt-in news and information alerts, schedules and player updates via mobile device. 4INFO previously announced similar deals with Major League Baseball and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.

Since when are the Jets the NFL's premier franchise? :-)
Believe it or not, I wrote this article back in 1969, right after the Jets won Super Bowl III. Granted, the Jets were still part of the AFL at that time, but I anticipated the merger as well as today's news. I'm, like, psychic or something.
"Premier" -- that's rich!
Somebody tell 4INFO's PR person that just because the client says so doesn't make it so.
The "premier" comment has nothing to do with the press release or 4INFO. It's a joke. I'm a Jets fan. The article makes that pretty obvious.
looks like Vz got tired of 4info freeriding off its network. once the VC cash is gone 4info is history. guess its true what they say "theres no free lunch".
