Ad-supported, free network eyed for '07
Blyk, the brainchild of a former Nokia executive, is a fully ad-supported MVNO aimed at the 16-24 age demographic. The company hopes to go live in the U.K. by next year. Whether it actually makes this goal remains to be seen. Ad-funded MVNO Spotcast launched in China back in 1999 but shut down after a year, and U.S. ploy Xero Mobile still hasn't got a signal.
