Adenyo scoops up mobile ad firm MoVoxx
Mobile marketing software platform provider Adenyo announced an agreement to acquire mobile advertising firm MoVoxx. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed; all MoVoxx staffers will join the Adenyo team. MoVoxx brings with it a fully integrated mobile media product suite including SMS, mobile app and display, complete with tracking solutions to improve subscriber targeting and post-click conversion rates. The company's proprietary GeoSense and MobileTrace technologies promise digital agencies, national brands and local merchants the tools to roll out location-based mobile advertising campaigns on a broad scale. MoVoxx clients include Sears, Nissan, Continental Airlines, Ford Motor Company and Paramount Pictures.
In early March, Adenyo (formerly known as Silverback Media) announced the completion of a $17.2 million institutional financing round led by Genuity Capital Markets. Added to the $9.7 million in private placements secured by Adenyo since July 2009, the firm has now locked in $26.9 million in total financing.
