Adobe Scene7 adds mobile video publishing support

Tools

Adobe Systems updated its Adobe Scene7 hosted cross-media publishing platform to incorporate end-to-end video publishing capabilities, promising marketers and retailers the tools to deliver video content across a range of customer touchpoints. According to Adobe, the Scene7 solution now supports mobile rich media viewers, offering businesses a single platform to cost-effectively create content optimized for mobile devices running the iOS, Android and BlackBerry operating systems as well as desktops and interactive displays. In addition to the ability to upload and custom encode video content for serving across consumer platforms, Scene7 features include dynamic image sizing, full-screen image zoom viewers for devices with or without Adobe Flash Player compatibility, support for multi-touch and gesture-based interfaces, and multiple view sets in a series of different styles.

The Adobe Scene7 platform update will be released early next month in six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Adobe Systems adds that customers including Macy's, Office Depot and Harrods have already signed on.
