Alltel adds video-on-demand content to Celltop

Alltel announced an agreement to power its new Celltop video-on-demand service via mobile TV solutions provider QuickPlay Media's OpenVideo platform. Alltel and QuickPlay will launch four new video cells delivering entertainment, horoscopes, extreme sports and health content from sources like NBC, MTV and E!--all told, Celltop now offers 15 cells providing shortcuts enabling subscribers to more efficiently navigate through aggregated information and applications.
