Alltel: Free apps with new handsets

Alltel announced in a press email that it will offer subscribers who purchase new handsets a free month of two of its most popular applications, Alltel Navigation and XM Radio Mobile. Alltel Navigation promises turn-by-turn driving directions delivered directly to the handset, while XM Radio Mobile offers unlimited access to 25 satellite radio stations available. The apps are available free until Dec. 25.
