Amobee acquires mobile ad agency RingRing Media
Mobile advertising solutions provider Amobee Media Systems announced an agreement to acquire mobile advertising agency RingRing Media. Financial terms were not disclosed. RingRing Media exchanges more than 4 billion impressions per month--its RingRing Exchange platform connects advertisers, media buyers and local/global ad networks with mobile publishers, operators and application developers. According to Amobee, the deal complements its operator-centric inventory and services portfolio, making it easier for mobile advertisers and publishers to co-exist by helping sellers monetize their mobile display inventory and giving buyers advanced targeting tools spanning territories including the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Amobee and RingRing add the acquisition is subject to certain closing conditions. They expect to complete the deal in the first quarter.
