Amobee launches hybrid mobile-outdoor marketing service

Mobile advertising solutions provider Amobee Media Systems unveiled a new proximity marketing model combining traditional outdoor media with mobile technology. According to Amobee, the solution leverages subway billboards, bus stop signs, movie theater lobby posters and other outdoor media formats to reach users via SMS, Bluetooth or WiFi; advertisers pay on a performance basis each time a consumer interacts with their campaign--for example, texting a designated keyword to receive product information or video content. Amobee technology can both locate consumers and identify their handset model, promising 100 percent measurable campaigns.
