Amp'd Mobile generates $107M in Series E
Amp'd Mobile raised $107 million in its fifth round of venture capital financing, bringing the MVNO's total funding to over $360 million since its late 2005 launch. According to PEHub, the round was led by hedge fund Old Lane Management and return investors Columbia Capital, Highland Capital Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Intel Capital, MTV Networks, Tudor Investments and Universal Music Group. Privately-held Amp'd is reportedly mulling whether or not to accept additional financing.
