Analytics firm Flurry grabs $7 million in Series B
Mobile application analytics provider Flurry announced the close of a Series B financing round totaling $7 million and led by InterWest Partners, with additional contributions from existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Union Square Ventures, First Round Capital and Draper Richards. Launched in January 2009, Flurry now tracks more than a billion end user application sessions per month across iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices--the firm reports that more than 15,000 developers have now integrated Flurry Analytics within their applications. Flurry adds the new financing will support its planned buildout of new services as well as enable the company to hire new employees and scale its infrastructure.
