Antenna acquires mobile web software provider Volantis

Mobile enterprise solutions provider Antenna Software has acquired mobile web software company Volantis Systems. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Volantis enables partners to deliver both native apps and mobile web experiences across any connected device; according to Antenna, the addition of Volantis' software enables the company to substantially broaden its range of mobile web solutions, including the underlying architecture for mobile commerce and enterprise app stores. Volantis also brings with it carrier and enterprise customers including AT&T, Xerox, Schwab, Garanti Bank, T-Mobile and Coca Cola, extending Antenna's vertical offers across the financial services, retail, travel, transport, media and entertainment categories.
