AOL taps Cellufun for mobile gaming portal

Tools

Ad-supported mobile gaming service provider Cellufun announced an agreement to supply titles for AOL's new mobile gaming channel. Mobile ad firm Third Screen Media, acquired by AOL in mid-2007, will sell advertising inventory and provide banner ads for the initiative, which will feature original Cellufun properties including Call of the Pharaoh, Space Wars and Ice Fishing. "Games are a great complement to the robust entertainment offerings available through the AOL mobile portal," said AOL senior vice president Steve Murphy in a prepared statement.
