APC Wireless acquires Movida

Wireless logistics and fulfillment solutions provider APC Wireless announced its Cozac LLC subsidiary acquired Latino-focused MVNO Movida. Financial terms were not disclosed. According to APC, Movida's rate plans and subscriber contracts will remain the same post-acquisition, but the user experience will improve thanks to APC's strengths in handset fulfillment and software customization services. "Our strong growth plans for Movida in the Latino market should signify another vote of confidence in the MVNO market," said APC Wireless COO Samuel Bahreini in a prepared statement.
