App Store gobbles up ‘Pac-Man’

Casual gaming publisher Namco Networks announced that arcade perennials Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man are among the myriad mobile games optimized for the iPhone 3G and available via Apple's App Store. Priced at $9.99 each, the games promise to capitalize on new iPhone features including the device's motion-sensing accelerometer control. Both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man on the iPhone also promise two distinct touchscreen controls, one enabling players to direct their path by tapping the screen and the other introducing a virtual D-pad to simulate gameplay on rival devices.
