Apple counts down Top 10 iPhone web apps

Apple's iPhone web site posted a list of the 10 applications that have proven the most popular with the device's users. Two Google applications made the countdown, which is otherwise notable for the surprising dominance of mobile games, a segment that has largely stalled on rival device platforms. The list in full:

• iPunchOut!
• Google Maps for iPhone Touch
• iDuckHunt by Jirbo
• Connect4 touch
• The Zinio Mobile Newsstand
• Finger Scan
• MindDojo
• SMASH!
