Artificial Life to create Linkin Park apps for iPhone

Tools

Mobile games and applications provider Artificial Life announced a three-year agreement with Warner Bros. Records to produce a series of official iPhone and iPod touch applications spotlighting nu-metal band Linkin Park. Per terms of the deal, Artificial Life will develop two interactive Linkin Park apps each year, with the first tentatively scheduled to premiere in late 2009--the group's DJ Joe Hahn helped design the game. Formed in 1996, Linkin Park has since sold more than 45 million records worldwide--the band is currently at work on the follow-up to its 2007 album Minutes to Midnight. An international tour is also on tap.
