ARTISTdirect inks mobile deal with Boopsie

Internet music and entertainment information resource ARTISTdirect announced an agreement with mobile search solutions provider Boopsie to create ARTISTdirect-branded mobile channels on the Boopsie Mobile Platform. Per terms of the partnership, ARTISTdirect will provide indexed music news and artist data from its website to Boopsie users across the handset ecosystem, promising mobile access to hundreds of thousands of pages on musicians and filmmakers including behind-the-scenes interviews, reviews and exclusive music festival information. ARTISTdirect also hosts music videos and video channels featuring content from providers like ManiaTV, GoDigital, Comedy-Time, Suretone Records and Celebrities.com. The Boopsie Mobile Platform promises real-time indexing to guarantee the ARTISTdirect entertainment data is constantly updated.
