AskMeNow files for mobile search patent

AskMeNow has filed for a patent for its method of generating projectable advertising revenue for mobile search. The WirelessWeek article says the proprietary software includes "natural language interaction and a search methodology," which doesn't help explain the technology's uniqueness. AskMeNow contends that mobile content has become a highly competitive and visible market and its "pending acquisitions and the [patent] filings we're putting in place will competitively position AskMeNow in the future."
