Baidu, Nokia team for Chinese mobile search

Baidu.com is a big player in the Chinese language Internet search sector, and it's now planning to take its expertise to the mobile phone with the help of Nokia. The aim of the collaboration is to make mobile search in Chinese languages easier for subscribers in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Users of Nokia's Mobile Search Application and a high-end Nokia N70, Nokia N90 or other S60 Nokia devices will be able to access Baidu search services via a user friendly search icon on the handset's screen interface. Baidu's Web Search, News Search, Image Search and Baidu Post Bar will each be included in the mobile offering. The pilot is now available to download for free onto devices in mainland China.
