Bango, July Systems team for mobile 'stores'

Bango and July Systems have teamed up their respective MoCo services to bring content providers a "dramatically" improved solution for selling games, wallpaper, and ringtones from the mobile Internet. July Systems will supply the merchandising tools that allow retailers to offer promotions, bundles, flexible pricing like try-before-you-buy, rentals, subscriptions or pay-per-use. Bango's "browse and buy" technology ensures user identification with extensive track records for the "store" owners, and its payment method works on any network, anywhere in the world, including different currencies. Bango already works with Cingular, Vodafone, Orange, Telefonica and O2 on "direct-to-consumer" businesses.
