Bank of America goes mobile
Bank of America announced it will offer free mobile banking services to its 21 million online banking customers. Bank of America customers will have access to a series of mobile services including bill payment, cash transfers and account balances. The finance giant plans to introduce the service in Tennessee in early March 2007, followed by a steady rollout across the U.S. "We're taking convenience and control to a new level by providing customers with the ability to stay connected with their finances even when they're on the go," Bank of America e-commerce executive Sanjay Gupta said in a prepared statement. "If you have a cell phone, you have the opportunity to take advantage of the latest innovation from the country's leading online bank."
