Bsquare inks WinMo app distribution deal with Microsoft

Software solutions provider Bsquare Corporation announced an agreement with Microsoft to distribute Windows Mobile software and applications worldwide. According to Microsoft, Bsquare is the first distributor signed to its new Mobile Indirect Channel initiative as the software giant looks to sell and support the WinMo platform across a broader base of customers--per terms of the deal, Bsquare will supply technical support as well as licensing and go-to-market assistance to approximately 30 select Windows Mobile partners upon expiration of their current direct agreements with Microsoft.  Bsquare promises its TestQuest automated testing products will enable OEMs to get to market more quickly--the firm also will provide Windows Mobile reference designs and board support packages.
