Buongiorno gets intimate with blinko

Digital entertainment provider Buongiorno launched a new version of its mobile social network blinko, enabling users to build smaller, more intimate networks made up of 20 select contacts. Buongiorno cites a recent survey conducted by HPLabs and Cornell University indicating that each individual is in regular contact with about 20 people representing the dominant points of reference in their everyday lives; by extension, most social networks are made up of a handful of close, personal friends and a larger network of acquaintances and professional contacts.

Moving forward, the blinko service will focus on users' inner circles, offering an exclusive SMS notification service enabling members to share and interact with their 20 favorites without starting a mobile web session. blinko users can send up to 30 free SMS each day to their 20 friends, as well as follow up to 10 channels.
